Exosomes Near Mirdif Dubai
Exosomes near Mirdif Dubai turn up on clinic menus as though they were a single treatment, and they are not. Exosomes are an ingredient, and clinics use that ingredient in at least four distinct ways with very different amounts of evidence behind each. Two patients paying similar amounts for an “exosome treatment” can walk out having received completely different things. We use a plant-derived, locally registered preparation at Villa 44C, 83rd Street in Mirdif, and this page sets out which use is which. Call 04 268 8226 to book an assessment.
One Word, Four Different Treatments
Before comparing prices anywhere, work out which of these a clinic actually means.
As an adjunct to microneedling. The mainstream aesthetic use. Needling puts skin into repair mode and opens access to deeper layers, then the preparation goes in. Our combined protocol page covers this session in full, including where the evidence is solid and where it thins out.
As recovery support after another procedure. Applied following laser or resurfacing to help the skin settle. Undersold by most clinics, and arguably the best-supported use of the four.
For hair and scalp. Used this way in some markets. There are things you should know before pursuing it, covered below.
As a serum on unbroken skin. Sold over the counter and in some clinics as an “exosome facial”. The weakest of the four by a considerable distance, for reasons worth understanding.
Skin Quality and Texture
This is what most patients come in for: skin that looks tired, rough or dull, with fine lines beginning to show.
Used as a needling adjunct, exosome preparations aim at how skin behaves rather than at volume or contour. They will not lift, fill or reshape anything. Practitioners report faster settling of redness and better skin quality across a course, and small open-label studies support that as an adjunct. What nobody has produced is long-term controlled data, so keep expectations proportionate to the evidence.
Delivery matters here more than the preparation does, which is why clinics always pair this use with something that gets it past the surface. See microneedling for how that step works.
Recovery After Other Procedures
The application that deserves more attention than it gets.
Laser treatment, resurfacing and deeper peels all work by injuring skin deliberately, and the days afterwards determine much of the result. Applying an exosome preparation during that window aims at supporting the repair your procedure has already triggered, rather than at producing a change on its own.
Two reasons this use holds up better than the others. The skin barrier already sits open, so delivery poses none of the difficulty it does on intact skin. And the promise is smaller and more measurable: comfort, redness settling, how quickly you look normal again. A modest claim resting on a plausible mechanism is a much safer purchase than a dramatic claim resting on the same mechanism.
If you already have a laser or resurfacing treatment in the diary, ask whether adding this makes sense rather than booking a separate course.
Hair and Scalp: Read This First
Several markets use exosomes for hair thinning, and you will find clinics in Dubai offering it. Two things before you book anywhere.
Hair loss needs a diagnosis before it needs a treatment. Androgenetic thinning, patchy autoimmune loss, thyroid-related shedding, iron deficiency, scarring conditions and post-illness shedding all look different, respond differently, and some need medical treatment rather than anything injected. Treating a scalp before establishing why the hair is going is how patients spend a year on the wrong thing. Start with a dermatology consultation.
Offering a product for hair loss is a medical claim, not a cosmetic one. Hair loss is a medical condition, so marketing a preparation to treat it makes a therapeutic claim. Products registered in the cosmetic category do not carry that indication, and this is the most common place clinics overstep on exosomes. Ask any clinic what their product covers, not merely whether it carries a registration.
We assess hair and scalp concerns and will tell you what is driving yours. What we will not do is inject a scalp before somebody answers that question.
Why a Serum on Intact Skin Is Not the Same Thing
Exosome creams and serums sell widely, and some clinics offer an “exosome facial” that amounts to applying one.
The problem is physical. Exosomes measure around 30 to 150 nanometres, and unbroken skin exists precisely to keep things that size out. Evidence for meaningful penetration through intact skin remains largely preclinical. Many over-the-counter products also use plant nanovesicles with no demonstrated effect in humans at all.
None of which makes them bad skincare. It does mean a serum is not a cheaper version of a needling protocol, and that anyone comparing the two on price is comparing different products. If a clinic offers you an exosome facial, ask whether anything breaks the skin barrier. If the answer is no, you are buying a facial with an expensive serum in it.
Plant-Derived and Human-Derived Are Not the Same Category
The most useful question you can ask about any exosome offer, and the one most patients never think of.
Many preparations sold in aesthetics come from cultured human cells, commonly umbilical cord tissue. Those sit under stricter regulation in most countries, and the international safety notifications and enforcement action you may encounter concern that group almost exclusively.
Others, including ours, are plant-derived. Different source, different regulatory category, different supply chain. Ours also carries local registration, which answers the sourcing question that no amount of marketing copy can.
Ask any clinic three things: what the exosomes come from, whether the product holds local registration, and what that registration covers. Confident specific answers to all three tell you most of what you need to know about where you are.
Who Should Not Have It
Because the mainstream use involves needling, the restrictions are largely those of needling: active acne or infection in the area, pregnancy, a keloid history, bleeding disorders or blood thinners, immunosuppression, recent cancer treatment, impaired healing, and any plant or botanical allergy given the source. Our combined protocol page lists the full set, and we screen for all of it at assessment.
If You Are Weighing Up the Options
Exosomes are the newest of the regenerative treatments and the least studied. Polynucleotides carry more published data behind them. PRP uses your own blood, removing the sourcing question entirely. Nobody has run head-to-head studies, so an aesthetics consultation beats reading three clinic websites.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an exosome treatment?
It depends which one a clinic means. Exosomes are an ingredient used four ways: as a microneedling adjunct, as recovery support after laser or resurfacing, for hair and scalp, and as a serum on unbroken skin. Those are different treatments with different evidence behind them, so establish which you are buying.
What are your exosomes derived from?
Plants, and the product carries local registration. Many preparations in aesthetics come from cultured human cells instead, which sit under stricter regulation and account for most of the international safety notifications.
Does an exosome serum work as well as the treatment?
No. Exosomes measure roughly 30 to 150 nanometres, and unbroken skin exists to exclude particles that size, so evidence for penetration through intact skin remains largely preclinical. A serum is reasonable skincare, not a cheaper version of a needling protocol.
Can exosomes help with hair loss?
Clinics offer it in some markets, but hair loss needs a cause identified before treatment, since androgenetic thinning, autoimmune loss, thyroid problems and deficiencies all respond differently. Marketing a product for hair loss also means making a medical claim, so ask what any clinic’s registration actually covers. Start with a consultation rather than an injection.
Which exosome use has the strongest evidence?
Recovery support after a procedure such as laser or resurfacing. The skin barrier already sits open, so delivery poses no difficulty, and the claim stays smaller and more measurable than a promise of rejuvenation.
How do exosomes compare to salmon DNA or PRP?
Polynucleotides have more published data and a regulated framework in Korea. PRP uses your own blood, so sourcing is not in question. Exosomes are newest with the least outcome data. No head-to-head studies exist, so nobody can rank them honestly.
Are exosome treatments approved by regulators?
The product we use holds local registration, which is why we can offer it. Ask any clinic what theirs covers as well as whether it holds one, because a cosmetic registration does not extend to treating a medical condition.
Is there downtime after exosome treatment?
That depends on the delivery route. Paired with needling, expect a mild sunburn appearance for a day or two and light flaking around days three and four. Applied after a laser treatment, the downtime is that of the laser.
How many exosome sessions will I need?
Usually three when paired with needling, spaced two to four weeks apart, then maintenance. As recovery support it is often a single application alongside whichever procedure you are having.
